In collaboration with Wallop Tangkananurak and Narai Property Co., Ltd., T.T.S. Engineering (2004) established a temporary school for workers’ children living in Parkland Srinakarin construction campsite. The project aimed to educate the children during the construction period. We turned a 2.5 x 6m shipping container into a classroom, extending its roof for additional space. The school also had its own flagpole and toilets. After the Parkland Taksin project was finished, the container school project was replicated in other construction campsites: Parkland Lakeside, Parkland Khae Rai, iCondo, and Parkland Wongsawang. The project receives an annual fund of 500,000 baht from Vijitpongpun Foundation covering teacher salaries, school equipment and supplies, and student meals. Planning to make the most out of the construction sites on which we operate, we are currently developing the container school project to further help the children in need in the wider society.
